“Can you do me a favor and speak to the lady who’s been listening on our conversation?” Said the warlock to the warrior who sat beside him. Vincentus excused himself from the the tavern elegantly, blissfully unaware of the storm he’d caused that would quickly spiral out of control.
The Alliance
It would seem as though Xanthion’s tower project has thus far gone off without a hitch. With the help of The Kokalt Company and Oathsworn Vanguard, the first tower was erected in the deep south of Stranglethorn and is now broadcasting out to Stormwind. Meanwhile, the priest signed a contract with Ausric and The Kokalt Company for further assistance in his following projects, giving Recidivus its first guild ally!
The Deal
“Find whatever you can about him.” While our heroes have been busy building towers and plotting maps, Vincentus has been busy digging as far as he can into the mysterious past of the boy who claims to be his son. While sneaking around the taverns he happens across a rogue with close ties to the priest, and offers the man a bargain. All the money you could ever ask for, for information. Of course Skjo could hardly resist the idea and accepted the man’s offer, and he quickly disappeared into the shadows to begin his work. Unfortunately Vivian, who had decided to spy in on the conversation, was spotted by the warlock in question and Crestor was requested to deal with her however he saw fit.
The Project
Meanwhile, Xanthion met up with his volunteers in Northrend, and the search for a suitable tower location began. It was discussed that anywhere around Dalaran would be difficult due to ley line interference, and eventually two teams split up to check out the only remaining places on the list: Grizzly Hills, and Dragonblight. After a considerable amount of adventuring, a large peak in the hills had been chosen, and the team agreed to meet again on the spot to build the following day.
“You should be careful around Northrend. It could be easy to slip and fall.” Unfortunately, the tower building team had not noticed that Vivian and Crestor had managed to fall behind the group. The fateful warning had come to fruition, and the young priestess found herself at the bottom of a ravine with a broken leg and a looming warrior doing the very thing he was requested to do from his employer. However, things didn’t go precisely as the little one had planned, as Crestor called over the radio to request Xanthion’s assistance in healing the poor thing from her ‘fall’.
“He’d do anything that that -man- tells him, just for a coin!” He could hardly contain her shivering under the blanket she’d tucked herself into. Unfortunately for Crestor, his plan was discovered and as quickly as Xanthion could move, he told The Kokalt Company of their situation, and they have agreed to keep their eyes out for any further transgressions. The catch? He can’t know that they’re onto him.
